This continues our discussion on some ways to market a hypnotherapy private practice.
Blogs
This can be the most time-consuming way to market a business, but it is often worth the time investment. Blogs are a great way to reach out to potential and existing clients, which makes them a terrific marketing tool. To gain readership on a blog, focus on keeping the blog updated and publishing exciting and interesting content, like new research on hypnotherapy or little-known facts about hypnotherapy. For those who are too busy to create content for a blog, hiring a few freelance writers to create the articles is surprisingly affordable and will save busy business owners a lot of time. Honestly, some of my easier to write on topics have had a first draft written by ghostwriters based on research I gave them, they were then edited by me who knows the industry and can correct any mistakes.
The best thing about this aspect is not to get followers, which is nice, but to write things that people might want to research or read. This should drive your SEO and allow your website to rank higher on google or better yet use as a source for questions on things like Quora. I try to schedule for the same day every week and I will preschedule posts and that’s ok. Prescheduling can also be done with Facebook and youtube when you are ready to do this.
Sending out mass emails can be a great way to attract new clients, but you must take care that you are targeting the correct people. I hate spam and I know you do too. I personally do have a mailchimp, but I respect my clients enough to not send out extensive mailings unless I think it is something that people would enjoy. I also assure that they are opting into the practice newsletter. When people hand me a business card, I do not automatically put it into my list which I know many people that do. I know this is a networking faux pas, but it’s important for me to not annoy people.
However, there are hypnotherapists that absolutely swear by sending out mass email so I should discuss a bit about them.
There are many different bulk email services that can make sure your email reaches as many people as possible. These services can also help business owners to create eye-catching emails without the need for coding or design experience. Emails are a great way to attract new clients by either sending out information about the hypnotherapy business, sending coupons or promotional codes, or featuring clients who have been helped by the hypnotherapy services offered.
