Our Policies

At After Hours Hypnotherapy LLC, we conduct business according to the values embodied in our mission statement and follow all required federal, state, and local laws.  The following are a list of our policies.


We collect your information (phone/email) for appointment reminders and communication.  It is stored on the Acuity Scheduling servers at the second highest level of privacy available.  Your credit card if stored, is stored securely on Acuity Scheduling/Square at the highest level of privacy.  We exclusively see last four digits and expiration date.  If you opted into emails, they are stored on Mailchimp.  Truthfully, we rarely put out practice emails.  We do not sell your emails, address or number.  We don’t like it either so we would rather not do it to you.


Consultations : As part of respecting patient autonomy, consultations must be made by the potential client unless they are under the age of legal majority or are incapacitated.

Drop-ins : We do not have drop-in appointments unless otherwise arranged.  “Emergency” appointments with less than a 48 hour notice are an elevated charge. These appointments are not available to new clients.

Financial : After Hours Hypnotherapy LLC accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express using Square payment processing. In person, we will also accept cash and checks and may accept barter at the discretion of the provider. We request your credit card be placed on file with Square prior to booking your appointment. If you are not comfortable using Square and an additional method is required please contact us through email.

House Calls : For locations where the internet is unreliable or where After Hours Hypnotherapy LLC does not have a regular presence, house calls may be offered at the discretion of the attending provider.

Referrals :  Medical or psychological referrals are required for a majority of our services.  We accept medical referrals from MDs, DOs, or PAs.  We accept psychological referrals from licensed clinical psychologist (PhD or PsyD), LPCs, and LCSWs.  Clients under 18 also need a parent or guardian approval *in addition* to a specialist in either pediatric medicine or pediatric/adolescent psychology.

Scheduling : At this time and unless special arrangements are made, clients must book themselves on their website for their consultation as well as their first paid appointment, all other sessions can be provided in office.  During the scheduling process, a brief intake form will be filled out and you will be able to put a deposit down on your session.

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy : Up until 48 hours, you may reschedule your appointments yourself using the website. Email for cancellation or to reschedule with less than 48 hours notice. Less than 48 hour notice for cancellation or a failure to appear is a $50 cancellation fee payable prior to the next appointment.


As of 2018 due to the legal state of hypnotherapy, After Hours Hypnotherapy LLC is not legally required to maintain HIPAA compliance or general confidentiality.  However, the company is slowly transitioning over to HIPAA compliance voluntarily as finances permit.  We assure established clients of confidentiality unless otherwise required by a court of law.  The agreement of confidentiality starts at the first session.


We do not tolerate discrimination based on characteristics such as age, sex/gender, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation or preference, gender identity/expression, HIV status, veteran status, national origin, disability, or religious beliefs. We also do not tolerate harassment neither by our clients or our employees.  Any prospective client who is found to be harassing or threatening or insulting employees of this practice will not be welcome in the practice and if harassment continues, their name will be provided to other small businesses and if enough information is provided will have appropriate charges filed.  Any client who is found to be abusing employees will be terminated from the practice.  Any employee found to be insulting clients will be investigated.


All employment must be in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those concerning hours, compensation, opportunity, human rights and working conditions.  All applicants are welcome to apply and will not be discriminated against due to age, sex/gender, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation or preference, gender identity/expression, HIV status, veteran status, national origin, disability, or religious beliefs.  LGBT applicants and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.  Due to there being an epileptic on the staff with visual reflex seizures, Deaf persons or others who may need speech assistance devices may be provided with a company provided high tech AAC device in order to communicate and are discouraged from using ASL due to seizure safety.  Additionally, After Hours Hypnotherapy LLC encourages employees to further their education and may provide personal grants towards this purpose.
